Rallies in the Northeast

NORTHEAST CHAPTER                      Coordinator:   Harald Hefel

2026

29 Jun – 1 July Lake George
Sailing and camping on the Lake George Islands.

11-12 July Mount Hope Bay
The plan is to sail around Mount Hope Bay and up the lower reaches of the Taunton river. Launch from the Mount Hope Boat Ramp in Bristol, RI or Massachusetts Boat Ramp in Swansea, MA before heading northeast under the Braga Bridge and tucking into Battleship Cove for a lunch stop. Then press on with a flooding tide up the Taunton until tucking into Assonet Bay and sleeping aboard in one of the creeks overnight. Total sailing distance each way would be around 12 miles.
