DCA Members based in France regularly  organise rallies which members from the UK  and other parts of Europe are welcome to attend.    The Regional Secretary for France is Miles Dent. If you have any questions about the rally programme,   please  email  the   Regional Secretaries, specifying your question concerns France.

Please note that all rallies are subject to change or cancellation in the light of inclement weather, so it is vital that you check in the Forum's     France    section     for last minute changes or important instructions relating to the rally. Contact details for the designated contact person for each rally can be found in the Forum or Journal.

2025

Some of these rallies are being organised by    Voile et Avirons dans les Pertuis (VAP). This is a sailing club in La Rochelle  with similar aims and ideas to the DCA.  Miles Dent and David Priestley are members of VAP as well as the DCA. DCA members are welcome at VAP rallies.

26 May - 1 June                    La Semaine du Golfe du Morbihan
The DCA’s 70th anniversary falls in late May at the same time as  many members will be participating in the famous Semaine du Golfe du Morbihan sailing festival.   French members have organised a number of commemorative and celebratory events to take place during the Festival.   ​Full details in the Forum.                   MD

Île de Noirmoutier

7-13 September               Charente-Maritime
Starting from La Rochelle we hope to explore the Pertuis Breton between the    ​Île de Ré and the mainland.
