​The DCA  has held ad hoc rallies in Northern Ireland  but now plans to have a regular annual programme  to explore the wonderful dinghy cruising potential of both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.  Possible rally locations include:
  • Lough Erne
  • Strangford Lough
  • Lough Derg
  • Cork Harbour
  • Rivers and coast of  the south west of Ireland
The Regional Secretary for Ireland is Stephen Foyle. If you have any questions about the rally programme  or would like to join a rally prior to becoming a member of the DCA,   please  email  the   Regional Secretaries, specifying your question concerns Ireland.

Please note that all rallies are subject to change or cancellation in the light of inclement weather, so it is vital that members check in the Forum's     Ireland      section     for last minute changes or important instructions relating to the rally. Contact details for the rally organisers can be found in the Forum or Journal.

Most DCA rallies in Ireland are planned on a pop-up basis. Watch the Forum for dates and details.

DCA members are invited to join DA members at Lough Erne Yacht Club for a weekend of sailing on beautiful Lough Erne.  LEYC has excellent facilities  and is very welcoming to visitors.

​Camping is available at the Club.
